I'm not sure how you'd use email marketing with an Adsense strategy, unless it's to announce new content which will pull visitors who then click on your ads. If you mean Adwords, what you want to do is bring in clicks, and for those that convert, you can upsell them in the confirmation email. As in, "thanks for your order, we'll notify you as soon as it ships. Have you seen our other products X,Y, and Z that you may be interested in?" After that, you should communicate occasionally to keep yourself at top of mind, and other than that only email when you have a cool offer related to what was purchased.
Email marketing is important to build in a constant online business and drive traffic to your webiste/blog by giving people free content, although it must be quality. Building trust with your subscribers is really important.
Yes, i am using email marketing. But it gives good results only when you have a good list of database.
Hi there, we use Act with Sage and are considering getting Swiftpage to use for email marketing, has anyone used this programme before and if so is it any good. Many thanks
I think that the jury is still out on this particular debate, but I see where you're going. Facebook (the main player in social marketing) commands more traffic than Google itself these days, but the question still remains; How much of this traffic is PAYING traffic?" Success with Facebook requires a long-term strategy and a careful eye to establishing your 'Street Creds'. Email marketing can deliver near instant income once you get your subscriber list past 500 or so. My two cents. Best, --JR
I agree with Essex Girl. You need to write Killer Headlines in order for people to open your emails. Building a list was THE most essential parts of building my Online business and done properly, you can have many customers coming back for years buying your products. You do need to build a relationship with your list though and not make every email an offer to buy. People will soon get fed up with this. Give them lots of good content and treat them with respect. E- Mail marketing is the best way for generating online business but there are lots of thing meters to this like your Title should be effective and your description should be grammatically correct and in simple words.
Hi Mari, I can't imagine a successful small business owner's internet business working effectively without email marketing. But don't be fooled into thinking that email marketing will get you any sales. You will have people tell you all sorts of reasons why you need emails sent out to your list. Maybe they are all true but unless you have an irresistible offer all the traffic, list size and time taken to write them will be in vein. Start with an irresistible offer and it doesn't really matter what you say [within reason of course] and you will have an effective marketing email campaign which will be the envy of lots of business owners. Others will think it's the email marketing system you have… not so it will be because of your offer. Hope this helps
Email marketing is CRUCIAL to your business. I think the correct question would be, 'Does anyone NOT use email marketing?' Every 'Professional' internet marketer uses email marketing due to a variety of reasons. Nothing beats having well organised and valuable information set up in your autoresponder and then leaving it on autopilot while you do other important tasks or even sleep It is also being used by many businesses who are not into affiliate marketing or online marketing at all!
Email marketing is the way forward but you need to title and structure your plan correctly in order to capture the audience in question !
The tricky part of email marketing is to gather an emailing list of interested peoples. If you keep on mailing peoples who have not flair for what you offer , the result would be zero. However mailing list can be purchased online via freelancing sites etc. There are some other tactics that are used to attract readers, Total focus is on clicking on intended links......The best part of email marketing is that if you keep on posting emails to desired customers ...they will surely check out once...and if you provide valuable information they would be willing to follow your links.
Email marketing offers an opportunity to market directly to your target audience. The cost of email marketing is relatively cheap if you look at how you can generate exposure for your business.
We can use E mail marketing for expanding our business. But one should take care about spamming. It is very good route for business expansion. However in-place of e mail marketing you may try to social websites like facebook, youtube etc.
