I would suggest that anyone who has ordered this service check how your order is going. If you are not satisfied also start a Paypal dispute. They have still not replied to my pm so I can only assume that my money has gone with no proof that they did the work paid for.

 

I said this guy was a scam on Page 3 of this thread. Stop buying from him guys.

 

Did you get a refund? He wont even reply to me or this thread anymore. Even though he has been online.

 

Just an update that this person is telling Paypal that I only wanted the four articles. I would recommend that anyone who is still waiting for their work to cancel their order asap and ask for a refund.

Otherwise you are at risk of both not getting the work completed and losing your money.

 

I have two orders pending: from Dec,28 2010 and Jan, 5 2011, both are with no reports. I opened disputes in PayPal and got answers there that he completed job.
It is no doubts that we got one more scammer here on DP...

You wont receive anything.. your reports are given and work is completed and you dispute is escalated, it depends on paypal.

 

You only submitted four articles. You have even admitted it on Paypal. I paid for 12. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

 

And what about my refund, hostpole? I have no articles, no submissions, no reports and no money.
It depends on PayPal too?

As I said I was taking one for the team to test this in a few pages back. Well since it was 2 days overdue I request a refund and I received a full refund.

I did not go through paypal, but PMd him for a refund because he has a lot on his plate. I came home to a email saying I received a refund.

I do not think he is cheating anyone. I think he got overloaded and then with other projects it got out of control. Seems like a good enough guy and with first hand experience that I can get refunded I will use services from him in the future. Though I will ask if he is sure he can meet the deadline.

Sorry but I disagree, taking $199 and then only providing 4 articles instead of 12 is cheating me. He wont even deny that this is what he has done. He knows full well that Paypal will side with him as this is a "digital item".

He has made endless claims that as far as I am concerned he has not fulfilled.

Why offer such a service if you are not going to do the work?
If you are too busy why continue taking orders?
Why dont you let people know that you are swamped and orders may be late?
Why offer a 100% refund if you are not going to?

All I want is an explanation. If he has done the work as he has claimed why cant he show me the proof? Perhaps he made a mistake and submitted 6 sets of articles? Yet only 4 are in the report and there is no explanation why.

If the work has been done then of course there would be no need for me to moan. All I ask is that they explain what has gone wrong with my order...

Good luck with that. I PMed the OP for refund with no result (first order from more than a month ago!), then I opened dispute on PayPal and his answers there were very rude and ridiculous. So I have no doubt who he is. It depends on PayPal whether or not I get my money back. I just trying to prevent other people from losing money with the OP.

Hostpole is a scam artist. Mods need to ban him from this forum and should be avoided in all other forums.

I ordered service on 1/1/11. I followed up with him on 1/12 regarding the status of service. He never responded. I followed up again on 1/14 and he stated service is in progress. I followed up again with him on 1/23 regarding the status of service. Seller never responded. I followed up again on 1/25 asking again when my service will be done. Seller responded on 1/26 that service will be done in 3 days. On 1/30 he posted that he would refund all clients money if they have not been processed. I notified him on 1/30 that I wanted a refund as he never performed my service. On 1/31, he responded to me stating the service is long done and report is also sent, however, I never received any such report. I notified seller on 1/31 and 2/1 requesting a copy of the report and seller has not responded.

He basically is posting service advertisements and accepting peoples money and never performing the service, in essence stealing peoples money. He needs to be banned, his paypal closed, etc. Everyone disput the transactions if you didnt receive the service as it doesnt look like hes going to refund any money either.

I tried to be civil about it simply requesting the report but he never responds and how hard is it to email me the report if in fact the work is done. If it was really done he would send it so I would stop following up with him.

I wonder how much he scams his other clients from his other business hostluck.com which is the one that shows up in his paypal account?

That is exactly what happened to me. I have contacted DigitalPoint and as far as they are concerned they can do whatever they like.

Very disappointed with the whole process.
