Help to create SEO friendly URL

    Hello,

    I build a website and I want to do SEO for it but I don't have much knowledge about link development.Can any one please tell me how I can create SEO friendly URL for subdomain ?

    for example:
    I have URL: http://www.keyword.example.com/pages/example/121

    How can I make this URL short and SEO friendly ?

    it is very difficult to tell because of lack of knowledge of your websites structure ... i your website is on PHP i can help you out just PM me with url of your website

    Generally as a rule of thumb, letters are better than numbers. So look at removing/changing the "121" part.

    Do traditional link building using your keyword as anchor text. Traditional link building means article marketing, rss submission, forum posting, blog commenting. Also do link exchange with your niche related website/blog & use your targeted keyword as anchor text.

    Thanks to all for reply.

    But can I remove the pages folder (http://www.keyword.example.com/pages/example/121)and put all the pages of that folder in the subdomain keyword ? So that I can get URL like below:

    http://keyword.example.com/example.html

    Any help is appreciated.
