Alternatives to Dreamhost?

In the last week my website has had major downtimes. Once an 8.5 hour stretch.

Any suggestions for web hosts that provide better uptime? $10 a month should be ok.

Its depend on what kind of website you host.

If you using WP then I would suggest webfaction dot com as I hosted with them so far no problem.

Try Fatcow. There uptime is 99.99% with 24/7 live chat support, it's quite cheap and has cute cow logo!

I would recommend Bluehost or Hostgator.

I've used Hostgator and Godaddy, and have never had an issue with downtime, however the godaddy control panel is very impractical.

I think that you will find many options in web hosting offers section here.
