Check keywords from Google adword keyword research tool. It gives information about the competition of the keyword, local & global monthly searches for the keywords. It will help you a lot while choosing keywords for your website

Traffic, ROI and every thing based on correct keyword selection, if keyword selection wrong than ROI would be so far. There is so many way or tool available to selection of keyword like google adwords keyword tool, keyworddiscovery.com etc. keyword should be long tail or GEO based.

Keywords are good for SEO but keep in mind that we are building our blog or website for human and not only for search engine. Better to use time for content building.

Google have all the data people are looking for and their External keyword tool is a great way to do research - but it returns more results if you use it logged in to an Adwords account (plus you only need to log in and don't need to enter captchas).
One problem is that almost everybody uses it - so other tools such as Market Samurai can help with keyword research.
It's a bit expensive -0 but they give you a 14 day free trial
A couple of years ago I bought Micro Niche Finder - and that worked well until Google bolcked access to data. Now it is so slow I never use it.
You can also try Keyword Elite that includes it's own separate database - making searches very quick for popular niches, but useless for others

I have a proven way to get high traffic niche keywords.

No blackhat, just pure research methods. Yes, Google external keywords tool is involved, but that is only a small portion.

I have a series of 2 videos that explain my method in full. PM for details.

Keywords Suggestion: The first and the most important thing you should consider while keyword research is "relevancy". Try to choose keywords that really represent your website (and the content on your site). Don't go for keywords if they have high traffic but they are not relevant to your site, it would be a waste of time and efforts.

Keyword Tool: Like others have said, you can use Google Keyword tool absolutely free.

    Good luck,

Don't fully trust any keyword tool, I use Google keyword tool for research and brainstorming but not to go after keywords I want my business to target. Post quality content to your site, wait a few weeks then dig out the converting keywords in analytics, these are the one you should trust.

If you want the best keyword research then you need to use more than just one tool. The best thing to look for is traffic, competition and backlinks because that is where the problems will happen.

There are a lot of keyword search tools all over the place. The one I use comes with my website builder and I love it because it gives me the supply vs the demand which tells me which keywords are good or bad.

    Thanks,

    Hector
