Drupal is in my opinion the best CMS and then Joomla.

What is important i believe is that, which one you feel you can learn fast after a day of messing with it.

Do any of the ecommerce systems you mention have features you would normally only find in a good CMS, like:-

    • versioning
    • rollback
    • security
    • staging

Funny enough, trying to compare products seems to be made more difficult by the fact many of their website fail to provide a clear, concise feature list. And noone seems very interested in publishing comparisons of their product with comparative offerings, so people are left trying to make decisions based on vague comments by people that have used only one or two systems...

I would personally say wordpress with a dozen of addons, althougj joomla can be good , just look for the addons , or you can use scripts which have been created for ecomerce

At present, I think Wordpress is the best CMS. It manages everything that relates to the content like content on website, blog, meta and all that.

    hi,

in my point of view magento is best..

Magento commerce is easy to install with additional layouts and magento plugin. Unlike other open source shopping carts magento does not require e-store owners to have prior programming experience. It is undoubtedly simplistic and powerful.
Magento offers an unparalleled option of availing more than fifty payment gateways for integration.Online store owners will be able to manage manifold online stores from a single administrative panel and product catalogue. This feature proffers maximum flexibility as you will be able to manage many e stores saving you precious time and resources.

    thanks..

For anyone who even considers trying to use WP e-Commerce for WordPress; this is a piece of advise: DON'T! It is a horrible plugin with many errors and modifications needed even after you install it. For those who might consider purchasing the premium plugin Gold Shop Cart - it is just as bad, just run a search on Google.

That being said, Joomla and Magento were the best ones I used. ZenCart was pretty good as well.
