Facebook is better than twitter for promoting your brand

The two largest social networks, Facebook and Twitter, offer very different ways to build your brand and promote it socially.Facebook provides a better platform for publishing rich media.The essential problem with using Twitter to publish rich media like videos and photos is that you can't actually use. Facebook gives companies the ability to post videos, photos, audio and music, as well as all kinds of interactive content like discussion boards, polls, etc, all of which is easily accessible.
In my opinion facebook provide you better platform to promote your product than twitter. Facebook provide

Facebook provides a better platform for publishing rich media.
Facebook offers better, easier integration with your website.
Facebook offers better two-way communication.
Facebook offers a much larger audience.
Better control over content.
Facebook's advertising platform gives you the ability to promote your brand faster.

Where as

Twitter is an excellent way to hold a conversation with a single fan or user.
Twitter doesn't have any systems in place to do two-way communication
Twitter doesn't offer any tools for moderation
Twitter currently doesn't have any built-in advertising platform

 

Facebook is a con.. When you stop or pause your ad the next time you start it the price doubles.. Literally doubles.. You can start at £0.10 if you stop and start a few times for whatever reason the price becomes astronomical pretty quickly.. ridiculous

 

I agree with you that facebook now is the leading social networking site which businesses usually use when they promote or advertise their products and services. Facebook becomes popular these days because of its outstanding features.

 

I dont' know about you, but facebook is WAY more attractive to the eye than that ugly looking twitter with those ugly links and small bits of text. My daughters new cell phone came with a facebook module pre installed and she can actually communicate to my page without any effort at all. Easier than making a phone call

 

in my opinion FB is great for promoting your brand because you can make ad of your brand so people know your brand with the help of your brand ad.
You also make your brand page where you can post picture so people can attract to your brand.

 

I guess they're pretty much almost the same, just that Twitter is much easier to discover something as followers will see the post on their feed and all and can retweet it. Facebook on the other hand is capable of delivering more interactive content. Both have their pros and conns, why not just use both! haha

 

I think twitter is better for promoting products.

 

Twitter is doing good and a good place to promote your brand but in terms of popularity and number of users facebook leads thus it is considerable o do it in facebook.

Facebook is really improving for now on. I have a friend that having a site but he never perform SEO except sharing his site his facebook friends in a result his site is already on the page 1.

Actually there is a two way communication twitter. If you are both followers of each other you can send direct messages with each other. But of course that will be a tedious work especially if you got millions of followers.

I prefer fb as well. I haven't had much luck with twitter so far, but I haven't really tried very hard. I did get a little turned off by the fact that many have had their accounts suspended by adding too many followers too quickly.
