do you think facebook is better than twitter?????

hi everyone......
i was using facebook for almost a year and has a great following there but when there was a controversy about fb then i leave it for better and start using twitter....but is not much popular ....... whats the reason....... we dont have apps to play in twitter...is this is the only reason.....why people so much depend on facebook now a days?

 

They are not the same kind of websites. Twitter is a microblogging website that use tweets and followers system. Facebook is a social network with a lot of features

 

They may both fall under the social networking umbrella but they aren't so closely related that you can compare the two; unless you like comparing apples to oranges.

 

You can't really compare them like that. Like everyone said so far, they are two completely different applications. But results wise I have gotten more traffic from Twitter. I prefer Twitter over Facebook in SOME instances.

 

facebook much popular than twitter. facebook use lots of application than twitter.

 

i cant say that facebook is better than twitter. both are good in making money its just depends on how you monetize it.

 

It seems to me that you can get closer to people with FB...but that's just my limited perspective.

 

Ya its better as per my view.I follow simple rule for that which is what people can see directly makes it easy for them to understand & facebook makes it easy to show anything to people which create their interest...

 

I get results from facebook but twitter is patchy. Mind I only use them for my political blog which isn't everyones cup of tea. What I would like to know is how to build followers quickly and easily on Twitter.

i agree with mashemaru, you can really make the best use of both to earn some money...

 

I think that FB a lot more popular because we can use a lot more options and different applications there.

 

It's like comparing an apple to an orange. Sure, they're both fruit but one is an apple and one is an orange.

 

They're different but if I have to choose one, then I'll go with Facebook. You can only do so much in Twitter..

twitter is just small facebook ... facebook is huge compared to twitter

 

The sites are totally different and ultimately it comes down to what you are sing them for. You can use both sites for various forms of marketing. I'll be posting a ebook associated with twitter that features an unsaturated traffic source soon.

 

I believe that twitter isn't as popular because facebook offers comments, likes, apps, and other methods of sharing really easily accessible. More people consider facebook a social networking site than twitter. I don't think that subscribing to random people on twitter is as appealing as liking fan pages on facebook.
