What are the components to an Internet Marketing plan? I was trying to search for a complete report or line up of components of good IM plan. I am just a noob that's why IM strategies seem to be vague to my brain right now.
Figure out a niche you're interested in. Figure out what kind of products you want to sell, and who you want to sell them to. Make a list of things you're good at: i.e- Are you good at writing? Can you make videos? Are you good on the phone? Can you build websites? Learn how to take control of social media. Study sales copy.
You will need to have a success mindset first before you achieve any success. More information on my blog. I had good success from the internet, and now am on over 4 grand per month on the internet. There are MANY different IM Plans / systems out there, and they are all different. My suggestion to you would be to research a niche that has a lot of people in it, and build a content site (preferably wordpress), and post quality content on it daily. You can build a list by using Aweber or Getresponse. Just give away a free ebook (you can find them everywhere). You'll learn the marketing as you go on, but its best to build a foundation now. Don't fall for any loopholes, get rich quick, or secret Google flaws, etc.. It's all about content, backlinks, and listbuilding. It;s going to take some time for you to learn all of the components, but its worth it.
Internet marketing is not an end of itself, but rather a means to an end. In other words, it still comes down to marketing, and marketing depends on the products and services that you're marketing. So, decide what product(s) or service(s) you would like to market (whether your own or someone else's as an affiliate) and then go from there.
