Best tool for checking Backlinks of competitors?

i always use backlinkwatch.com for checking backlinks.

 

i use keyword spy - AWESOME! I know their keywords before they do!

 

Keyword Spy is one of the best tools out there

 

I am using seoelite since last 6 months and it has been giving me a consistent results
It also displays the anchor text present for your backlink.

 

Any suggestions on how to check the backlinks on a real estate that has over 40,000 backlinks?

How does anyone get 40,000 backlinks without using Black Hat techniques?

I tried most of the one that people spoke of here. But in my opinion, SEO Spyglass is unbeatable as the results are analysed to your need and you can use them for reverse backlink engeneering and such. Also the link value, IP allows you to optimize your time and be able to catch up with your competitors, and indirect ones also. Also this is just a small part of what SEO Spyglass can do.

Thanks to all the guys for there valuable inputs. This backlinks issue was bothering me for some time....

 

Even Google shows smaller fraction of links using link colon and larger % in webmaster but it does not exactly say how many back links. You can't trust any tool if Google it self has no information. If you download external links, the number shown will be much lesser in CSV download.

SEO is an analysis. Based on sample of links shown by Google webmaster, we need to make strategies. There is no end of link building as there is no end of web as such. To go after as how many backlinks your site receives is to count fish in large oceans.

I do not think that this kind of tools work properly.. because even Google asks for human verification and these kinds of tools cannot survice against this.. Either , it is better to check it on search engine with search query. in Google you can use following ..

link: http://... and you can use yahoo site explorer to check in yahoo

i liked seo splyglass and linkdiagnosis. Definitely there is no perfect tool for backlink check...
