New website design contest for $200

I am going to have a website built for my company. I want to be able to add content to the site myself without having a developer doing it.

What format is best suited for this purpose? a pure HTML or a site with PDS

Whats the niche of the site? Your color requirements? Some example sites you are looking at? Any layout preferences? Social Bookmarking friendly???

 

Hi, just to make things clear to DP members here. Do you require a designer or developer? A designer will only design the pages and provide you with PSD. A developer will code the PSD to valid HTML and CSS.

Because you mentioned "The site should be very easy to manage, including adding and deleting clients and content" which is confusing.

Also you mentioned "The contest will stay open until I find the right developer." what do you mean by that. Does it mean the contest will stay open until you find a developer to code it?

+1 Narutoc I wanna ask same thing coz your requirement here is a CMS and it costs lots more than $200 and i doubt anyone will make a CMS in a contest to lose afterwards

I believe this member wants a content management system which includes drupal programming. I am also available to do it, but much more money would be at cost; about $400 more.

 

I am not asking for CMS. When I talk about updating content I want something that I can post my new price list or job references. Maybe something like a form. If that's not possible, I am ok with that. The only important item is creation of client log-in section that should be done by using a DB.

The niche is As Build Survey, which is drafting the building layout. Our logo is blue and black. As long as you don't use strong colors I am ok. I can PM you some site example. We have no specific preferences for layout just something very easy to negative.

I also don't need any social bookmarking or anything like that.

 

Sorry for the confusion. I need someone that can build a website for me. That includes design and code. In regard to contest time, as soon as I find a person that can do the work, the contest will end.
