I made the mistake of installing Explorer 9 (I have OS Windows 7) and it's a disaster in every respect - it takes up unnecessary cache memory, it doesn't show most webpages in a readable way etc.
If you installed Explorer 9 and regret it, here is how to uninstall it:

    To uninstall Internet Explorer
The following instructions apply to both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
    1. Click the Start button , type Programs and Features in the search box, and then click View installed updates in the left pane.
    2. Under Uninstall an update, scroll down to the Microsoft Windows section.
    3. Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 9, click Uninstall, and then, when prompted, click Yes.
    4. Click one of the following:
    • Restart now (to finish the process of uninstalling Internet Explorer 9, and restore the previous version of Internet Explorer).
    • Restart later (to wait until you shut down or restart your computer).

    Note
After you uninstall Internet Explorer 9 Beta, the previously installed version of Internet Explorer will be available on your computer. It is not necessary to reinstall.

I just uninstalled it and now everything is fine, Thank God!:)

Internet explorer 9 will make microsoft heavy losses, because of its stability, many people are going to firefox, and probably, because it makes loss to their bing also, as you know, many people get by default bing toolbar, but in firefox, default is google.

IE7 Was fab, but as soon as IE8 came I hated it, it was very slow and decided to move to firefox which is great. Google Chrome is fast but you cannot use toolbars which is a down and sometimes crashes unexpectedly.

Amazing that after years and years of seeing their browser market share continually decrease, Microsoft still don't see the benefits of releasing a really good browser. I certainly won't be downloading IE9, or even IE13 if they're still releasing browsers by that time.

I use chrome, opera, safari, ff & ie. I tried ie9 and while I like the clean interface, it's constantly crashing and I have issues with cookies. I can't stay logged in to DP forums even though I listed it as always allow. Most likely, I'll revert to ie8.

IE9 will continue Microsoft's legacy of producing the worst browser on the planet. Today, it is already 2-3 years behind all other browsers in modern standards and compliance. If it comes out this year, it will be even further behind and there it will sit for another 3-5 years.

No one should use any version of IE. It holds back the web from becoming what it truly can be.
