Once you have built then lens how easy is it to transfer the lens to my user name.

I'm new to squidoo. I have my own username and i have built one lens.

 

As simple as pie! I create the lens and then using your squidoo email address I 'push' it. Squidoo then sends you an email with the link to accept it - you simply click that link, confirm the transfer and all is done!

That simple
