Google De-Ranking Sites?

Discussion in 'Google' started by Luke Beale, Jan 17, 2011.

A few days ago I noticed a decrease in search visitors and then the next day I had almost no search visitors from Google. When I type in my own domain into Google I get blog posts from my blog but not the main domain URL.

Any idea why my search engine ranking has gone to pretty much zero? Does it happen often?

I m not pretty much sure but it seems there must be spamming by your web url or there may be irrelevant back links...

it could be because of datacenter update. you may wanna wait to see if they come back.

Its been like this for nearly two days and so does anyone know how long a datacenter update will effect it? If its the cause?

Google must have changed some elements of its algorithm as of late. some things that used to work very well seem to be ineffective lately.

If I have been subject to a penalty, how long does this normally last? Is there any way of fixing it?
