It depends on what the photos are about - images about tattoos getting relevant and well paid ads for example - pictures about animals and nature arent the winner

I also have wallpaper and photos blogs but I put some relevant text with wallpaper. So that relevant ads run on my blogs. So try to place some text as well.

Alt tags to describe your content.

And you're not wrong about photos of animals and stuff being low paying :)

Thanks for the info. I already have adsense on my other blog. And I'm afraid I get banned for showing ads on a blog with no content but pictures. I'd also like to try CPM ads, will they accept photoblogs?

I don't think text or not counts for photo website, just updating and do link building, i think it will works well.

as I know photo blogs need more visitors to earn with adsense, because photo blogs usually get low paying ads

It is my understanding that GA will not approve a non-text site. If you want to use AdSense on this image site, perhaps launch another project on the side offering articles on some subject (wouldn't really matter). Then, after your account is approved, you can abandon that site and use the AdSense code on your photo blog.

I don't think you can have adsense with just photos and no text, so I would have to say nay but I might be wrong.

I've seen sites with nothing but photos and has a shitload of adsense ads. So, I guess it's okay.

But I'm sticking with another ad company for my photoblog. Adsense won't work well on it anyway, I guess. Thanks everyone.

yes.. If you have some text content along with the photos or images then it would be easy for GA to display your ads. Also the keywords which you are giving is very important.
