Is internet brwsing on HTC Wildfire android phone free on home broadband network

    I want to buy this on non-contract (i.e. on PAYG) http://www.htc.com/uk/product/wildfire/overview.html and was wondering if the internet will be free to use when connected to my home broadband wifi network. I only want to top up for making calls but not for using the internet as I don't need to use the internet when away from home.

    I am in the UK by the way.

    IF you'll connect wi-fi network the phone will prefer this connection to other ones and you will not use mobile traffic. Moreover there are special apps for Android phones to control your connections. You can simply disable mobile Internet and use only Wi-Fi
