    Hi, welcome to DP.
    My advice is learn adobe free tutorial through Youtube.
    It doesn't matter if you do not have Adobe photoshop install.
    It will show you step by step of how to write a simple html to pro html.

    First lesson, design a website in notepad-Basic & Beginnings.

    Do a self study. Learn how to blog. Read articles and forum posts on how to create anchor text and hyperlinks. You can start there. Hope this helps.

    if you know nothing
    firstly download Dreamweaver
    download free scripts
    open their source code (*.html , *.htm, *.php, *.asp) with dreamweaver
    try to understand tags (table,div,body), goog it in google if you do not undertand

    find a simple web page, view the page source html, compare the html code in text form to html in the browser. to view page source html using Internet Explorer, click Page, then click View Source.

    Just keep on practicing.. Using Notepad is a great help too.. Self studying with the help of quality books that teach the basics of HTML, and try searching on youtube. they has the best tutorial videos ever, it'll be a great help i think.
