880 Followers in twitter, but no traffic

I have around 880 twitter followers. I am regularly updating my sites and tweeting my posts on it. But I am not getting any visitor to my site from my tweets which was shown on 880 followers pages.

How should I get traffic from twitter? Could anyone show me a way of getting traffic to my sites.

 

You need the right type of followers - followers that are targeted to the sites you're marketing. Making money from Twitter is a lot more complicated than gaining a large following.

 

follow 100 people a day in your niche. You'll get new followers and soon you'll start getting clicks thrus. also, try posting your updates on Twitter a few times a day. If your followers have many followers too, they will only see your tweet for a few seconds before its gone.

 

I am regularly updating my site and in a minute it will be tweeted in twitter by autotweet. Approximately in my site it will get posted upto 10 posts a day. But not getting enough traffic. Even I follow them, I am not getting the right one.

 

For getting visits from twitter or other social networking site you have to need your site theme related followers.i.e your site is related to web hosting and you are following multimedia related follower than how can you get visits.

 

You should use multiple traffic getter, not only from Twitter.

Off-course this is on average. If you have 1.000 followers and these are all clieant and you post a tweet with a link to give them 30% discount on the next purchase. The CTR will be something between 20 and 40%!

Don't overestimate the power of twitter.

 

Twitter is good micro blogging or social media site. There you can share your reviews and what you think. If you want some traffic by twitter then you need to post some attractive post on twitter......

 

disable the auto tweet function
stop acting like a bot and start acting like a human
your followers will appreciate that
interact with them and they'll do the same

Besides auto tweets, you do have to INTERACT like a real person.
It should not all be links and deals and sales copy.

Total autotweeting is not the way to get anything out of twitter.
You have to 'mix it up' and give people a real reason to click away from twitter.

 

Add more follower more. Use twitter tools to do that.

You need to tweet other social networking site like myspace, stumble upon...........

 

You definitely need targeted Twitter followers. I have about 500 in the IM niche.

 

if you have relevant followers, you can get more traffic find natural followers with good tweet , i think twitter tools not good to get instant followers

 

I got 880 followers through by follow and unfollow method and twiends. I am tweeting news site which update automatically every 15 minutes and some other sites related to sap, electronics, entertainment, dating etc. So once the post was made in my site, it will automatically updated on twitter as new tweet. But I am not getting traffic to my site. Please suggest me any way to get targeted traffic.

 

probably your main problem is that most of your followers are not real humans, just spam accounts

Well it depends on what you are tweeting and how often, but in the end i think its not worth the time.

 

I agree with this. 100% auto tweet will only get you followers doing the same thing, auto-tweeting. Interacting, retweeting (RT) and direct messages (@) are a good way to interact with other people. You also want to just tweet about related information that is personal to you.

 

Internet marketing is not just about putting links where people can see them. You must make them trust you. You must be credible. Only then they will buy and click on your links. Would you buy something online if it just pops up from nowhere? or would you get it from an e-mail from someone that you know who recommends it? It goes the same for twitter You also must target the right followers not just any. Especially ones from auto follow or twitter trains.
