So I am here to help fellow DPers. @DPers There is a fellow by the name ' buhawi '. I have done close to about 100 x 250 words for him for $1.25 each and he didn't pay for a single one. I didn't ask for upfront payment because he has a 100% solid itrader rating. I know that many writers can vouch for him. The thing is, that he was willing to pay till the time I kept taking his work. But due to his rude attitude, I told him that I won't take more work from him and would just complete his remaining work and he must pay for it now. He disappeared after that and never made any payment. I have proof of all our emails. I really hope that the mods take action against him and help me get my money back. He really doesn't deserve to be in this business anyway! For any first time client from DP, the maximum "line of credit "I allow is $10. Once they have paid me for work worth $10, I can then give them a larger line of credit, usually $20-30. You seem to be in a bad position, I hope you too take steps to get an idea of the client before you trust them like this. Best of luck recovering the sum. It may still be possible. If it is not, you should totally give him a negative feedback - to warn others. Keep the screenshots and other details of the emails with you, and post them if he does not pay.
He isn't a first time client, he has over 50 itraders, all positive. That is why I trusted him. Usually I charge 100% upfront, and often around $4.5-5 per 500 words.
Thanks for the information mate. Mods must do something to this person and also to all who does such. Hardwork must be paid. iTraders are not the only measuring rod to judge people here. Also, I have been cheated here by someone else.
Akshay, As I can see, he hasn't logged since 31st, I feel he is on vacation or something, so why don't you wait for a couple of days more to get your payment. I don't think a person with 50+ iTraders will put his reputation at stake and swindles sellers here. Just wait for a few more days and update us in this regard. Of course he will pay now and say it was a "misunderstanding" but will it be the truth? If he does not pay he will be banned and have his reputation burned to ashes.
Nope, he is a fraud. He stated that he won't pay, well almost. And we had been communicating all this while using email and not DP. He won't pay, he is not truthful. How do I get the mods to take action against him?

Hi, I'm just new on this thread but I have known buhawi for half a year now. He hired me last year and he has kept his word with regards to payment. I have referred few writers to him and they were also paid. He's one of the the most trusted and reputable persons that I have known online and I won't stay this long with him not unless he gives his share of the deal as I provide him articles for his clients.
Hi ... I work with Buhawi. I must accept that I started writing only after checking the reputation, since the volume was high. I joined him in December and submitted 150 articles. I raised invoice and got paid this morning. Working with him was a pleasure too and he was very clear and precise with the instructions & deadlines. I know Loloye as he is one of my buyer on another forum. He haven't delayed any payment for me as well. He is such a good guy (as far as I know), very cooperative as well. As the above poster said he may be on holidays. Have some patience and I'm sure he will reply asap. Don't worry if you have delivered him the quality content, he will definitely pay you for the work. 1. Buhawi is coming up with all sorts of scam ids and defending himself here. Why can't the mods do something about this? 2. He said he won't pay the moment I said that he was too rude and I wasn't going to work with him after I completed the projects in hand. 3. He showed his true colors after learning that and since then hasn't replied nor paid nor done anything else. That was about 2-3 weeks back or so. 4. Clearly, he is a fraud! Can the mods please look into this and do something about this fraud user? How do I get help from the mods?
