I've built up quite a few Youtube accounts in the past couple of years, for personal use, and I've always gotten a fair amount of subscribers. The problem is always the grind it out method you have to use to get people to see your videos. The constantly promoting on sites, comments, and pretty much anywhere can lead to minimal results for hard work. Even if your videos are pretty good, it doesn't mean anyone will ever find them because there are so many damn videos. Which has brought me to an idea for my new account I'm working with. Has anyone in this forum ever offered a popular Youtube Channel, or Blogger to feature their video for a fee? For a Youtube channel you could have them play a clip of your video, with a link to the actual video. And for blogs, well that's pretty much self explanatory. If your video is good, and your seen on a page with a large subscriber base can really help you gain a core group of fans. Anyways just wondering if anyone here has paid someone for this/gotten paid to do this, or knows of anyone that has?
That's not exactly what I meant. I'm aware of the programs out there, but I was trying to think outside of the box. If you had a youtube channel with 50k subscribers in the same niche as mine (for example comedy), I would pay you $150 to mention my video with a link, or send messages to all your subscribers with my video. It'd be a quick, easy way to get money if you have an established youtube page, and a good way to get exposure if you're just starting out. I'm just trying to see if anyone has taken this approach before or have thought about it?
I would recommend using TWIENDS to boost the views of your videos. If you have high amount of views then rest assured your videos will be shown higher in search pages and this can generate traffic and subscribers.

You must try to increase the number of views that you have. BTW, the niche is impt. Different niches may not have as much demand as others on youtube.
I don't really know what you promote, but with a bit of creativity you can get substantial amount of YouTube views from classic SEO campaigns and social sharing. It is also important to automate the tasks as much as possible - in my opinion automation is the key to success if you are involved with YouTube. It's an interesting idea to feature videos on popular blogs for free, but with a bit of luck and persistence you can even make the owners of popular websites feature your channel for free - I've never actually done this but since I am also involved in substantial partner and JV marketing campaings I know from experience that out of 10 people you approach and suggest something that might be interesting and useful to their audience, they will be happy to cooperate as it's for mutual benefit.

I know of know one doing this. I'm curious how much you would be willing to pay. Personally, there are so many ways to share your videos for free, I would use those techniques first. Websites that have a huge following, especially that are comedy-related, you could establish a partnership or advertising relationship with them to have them show your videos.
