    giving up is an easy option. However if you want to be successful in Internet marketing than the key is SEO. You need to continuously create the backlinks in order to cement your Google search position.

    I think your website is penalized by Google because of spams links (it happens most of the time because of spam links) , try some position checked tools and check if your website still appears in 1st 1000 if it's not then it's penalized for sure, then go for some high quality stuff next time.

    Sometimes give it time and might resurface, if a site goes too quickly up the rankings, it disappears for a while, while Google tries to find a good spot for it, aka Google Dance
