How do I make a WP Blog From My Website Theme?

    Hello I have a new website I have just made and would like to use the same theme for it's WP Blog.

    Will this be difficult to implement?
    Is there a place I can get clear instructions on how to achieve this?

    The website is http://stand-up.ws it's a pretty basic structure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    You have to create that theme for wp also to use it with your wordpress blog , if you need help i might be help ?

    For Converting your Existing Template into WP template , you should know the PHP atleast for making wordpress templates you can get more info at

    If you have a design and you want to a wordpress theme to have transform the look & feel as the design you have, you should be knowing a little bit of PHP, HTML and CSS.

    Your site seems so simple, that I'm sure you'll be able to create a similar looking site using wordpress.
    My suggestion would be to make sure you have a hosting account that uses cPanel with Fantastico installed.
    You can then create a wordpress blogs in just a few clicks.
    Then learn how to use widgets - you can use a text widget to html that will allow you to put up some of your pictures that you want to appear on every page.
    There are lots of plugins you can use to display a gallery of pictures withy clickable links.
    Very soon you will be able to make a site that will be an improvement on the one you already have.
    Just try it.

    Like said above. You will need to know some php and html. Then what i would do is look for a free wordpress theme that has the same similar structure to your current site. Then work from there. This way your not starting from scratch. You can find free template at http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/

    You can Youtube this - but learning Wordpress isn't a days worth of work, trust me. If you have time, then I would recommend finding tutorials on Youtube that will help you out. Rest is pretty much experience and testing :)
