    According to google TOS we can have only one adsense account.

    But still you can have more by giving different address

    You can have too many adsense accounts at a time with different usernames but it's 100% illegal. If somehow google caught it than all your account will be "Banned"! So, be careful about what you do!

    According to terms, you can have 1 personal account and 1 business account. Address maybe same for both accounts, but the names have to be different. Business account must bear your legally registered business name.

    You only need one adsense account if you have multiple sites with similar niches.

    If you have a very different site (eg, business) then get another adsense account. Otherwise anything you put in the competitive filter affects ALL your adsense sites.
