I am considering selling my last health site to concentrate on my sports sites. The domain is a PR3 ranked site (PR3 site wide) It is a unique design, not the typical cooker cutter turnkey site. I did originaly buy the site last winter from ebay for about $100 and was shocked to find many copies of it on the net (so it was a turnkey site), so I redesigned the site, rewrote the information, added more content, applied SEO, bought links and traded links to getit linked. Site has been online for a few months although I originally bought the site a while ago and took it offline. I have just recently added adsense to it after the PR was updated so that the ads would not influence the rank. No links or content are required to stay intact but if removed may lead in a return link being removed, thus effecting the PR. What script are you using there then? I mean, how do you add new content? Also, can you tell the reserve price and bin?
Thanks for all the responses and interest in the site, I have tried to answer all questions above here, but certainly do let me know if I have missed anything. Current highest offer is $100 ---------------- I was hoping to recoop some of the expenses occured (original site, directory submission, links etc) and get some comp. for the SEO work invested to get the PR. I am hoping for someting in the $250-300 range. WYSIWYG - yes everything you see is included, domain, content (links / text), graphics, html, backups, etc Sorry, Im still pretty new to this style of doing business, I used to do local web work only, then I moved onto ebay for a while and have since migrated to here. BIN $300 Like I mentioned above, there is no script involved, I used Dreamweaver and often use a text editor to change links or content because it is quick for small changes and I designed the site to use 'includes' so that it was easier to edit the content and not alter the site itself. Therefore there is no admin panel or anything like that, you can just open one of the content files in a text editor, make some changes and then ftp that little file to the site (or however the new owner wants to, somebody could design an admin script if they wanted). The Site uses, a header and footer style so you can offer site wide links or you can just sell links on per page. I have also made a links page and added a text sponsor on each page, so you can also have links that are not side wide. I guess reserve price would be a BIN price, and is mentioned above. Traffic is natuaral I geuss, I have never paid for any traffic if that is what you mean. I have it linked from sites, have it submitted to directories and search engines, have traffic from this forrum etc. I am not sure if this is exactly what you mean ... ---------------- I think it is a pretty good site with great potential but am hoping to channel some time and money in my other sites. I think that this iste could become a PR4 or 5 site in the next update with some further investment (and may do this myself but prefer to hand it off to somebody else to manage).
