Compost your garbage instead of throwing it all away. You know what, over 60% of solid household waste is fit for the compost pile, heap or bin!

 

I don't use plastic bag when go shooping, and I take the public trasportation to go to work, so I guess i indeed do my part to save the planet!

The goverment are now banning the manufacturing of high energy light bulbs. I believe from tomorrow.

Shops who still stock them can continue to sell them though.

 

I work for a solar panel company located in miami and soon will look forward to buy panels to replace electrical power.

 

Whenever needed, i always participate.

 

Apart from using as less energy as I can at home, I'm developing a website to encourage others to recycle and reduce their energy consumption.

Yes, segregating the non-bio and biodegradable garbage is one of them.

 

ChinaChris ! So you don't CARE about the your future of your children and your future grand-children we all need to much as we can to recycle more and use less energy, with the worlds population growing so fast the planets resources are quickly running out and forcing up the price of food and raw materials.

It realy sickends me to hear someone say they don't care about the planet, we don't own this earth only lease it from children and their children.

ChinaChris ! I'm guessing your young and don't have children yet. Once you have your opinion may change as you'll do what ever you can to protect them and the environment around them.

What do we need to do, to make people start caring more, what would make you change your opinion and care more ?

For me, public transportation. How good is it that instead of 1 man a car, we can have 30~ man a bus!

 

well have planted a garden near to my villa.

 

i use to turn off all the lights even the night lamp to same atleast very small power .
and i use public vehicle in that way i want to stop polluting the environment

I do what I can each day. I recycle all the cans, bottles, paper, plastic, magazines, etc. I also try to keep the lights off when not in use. I'm also using reusable bottles for water instead of the diposable ones. I actually just switched to reusable GLASS bottles which are better for you because they don't release harmful chemicals into the water, juice etc. I just bought some from a company called Aquasana and they can be found on the web.

 

I do my best to contribute whether it is by not forgetting to turn lights off, using fan instead of AC, or carpooling!
