    What i found, Really hard to believe :D

    for the keyword best search engine, google shows another search engine dogpile.com, lol

    Go to Google and type in "best search engine" – you will be shocked!

    even for the keyword "search engine". They are humble and we all know that google is the best there is no need to give a rank for that. unlike to yahoo!

    Google claims to not give special treatment to themselves in the organic ranks for anything. It appears to be mostly true in my experience - they even advertise for themselves for certain things that they don't rank well for organically.

    They need to set a precedent, I think it's cool that they don't use their own power to benefit them in the SERPS. Shows control and maturity.

    You are like a Newbie for that seo. Actually, google is not a seo company. No People goes to a search engine and search for other search engines. It is just like, you have a bakery, and you eat yourself, what is the use? :D

    We advertise only that things to which we don't know. Google is top brand name so no need to advertise itself.
