Profile Music Feed - Popular Facebook Application & Website

Profile music feed is both a stand alone site and facebook application that allow's users to search for and post music on their facebook wall. No database is need as this script is fully automatic and requires little to maintain. Low bandwidth as it uses sources from the net. And ZERO media files hosted.


I developed Profile music feed a few months ago when my wife wanted a way to post her favorite song on her facebook page for her friends to play and hear.

After searching for I found a script to do what i need and began building the site.

From just me and my wife posting our songs on our page in a few short months The Application Has over 1,600 active users per month! & The Site gets over 1,800 visits per month !

This app can go viral fast just from two people posting. The word spreads fast....

100% Automated - This is purely a set it and forget it site as there is nothing to administer i've set up the application and all music files are remotely hosted on other sites. The script search for playable versions of the music and post's it on their wall through our player.


How Profile Music Feed Works :

1. Users go to app page:
   
2. Users type in the artist name and song title that they want.http://www.profilemusicfeed.com/images/2.gif
   
3. The script search's the net for available songs and returns results.
   
4. User can then preview each song by clicking the play button. When they find a good file they can then click share.
   
5. A box will pop up previewing the post. When they click publish they will get confirmation.
   
   
6. Finally the song is posted to their wall for all friends to see:

How easy/difficult is it for someone who does not know PHP to update the script? Can you post Facebook App statistics with regards to the users of your App? What is your reserve price?
