4 Make sure your website gets listed in DMOZ:

6 Review websites in your niche
7 Review some related products on epinion
8 Whenever you send an email to someone, always add your website url as a signature
9 Keep updating content on your websites/blogs
10 Tag blog posts at social bookmarking sites
11 Add photos to your blog with appropriate keywords
12 Encourage readers to comment on your blogs
13 Include translation for your websites/blogs
14 Do not be boring, write about something that a wide select of people would want to know about

It isn't easy to do step 4.

 

I like using squidoo and hubpages, for anyone that hasnt tried them and only writes articles. go and try hubpages and squidoo they work great and it's free

It's incredible, how this simple tip works wonders. I've been using it ever since I started online in 1996 and made my first home page with Microsoft Publisher (argh).

 

Can you also tell people how you do that? Especially the part of "making sure" to get listed. Tou can try but just submitting a site to DMOZ for consideration doesn't do the trick if those people don't have the time (or are too lazy) to include your site.
Have been waiting for more than one year to get my site included and still waiting.
Meanwhile I don't even care too much about anymore if the site will get listed with DMOZ or not. DMOZ has lost a lot of it's former importance.
