One analytic code for multiple sites.

Is it possible to use 1 analytic code for multiple sites ?

I have 20 sites, I put same code in all sites, and in the website name (when creating the profile), I type 20sites.com , the website 20sites.com doesn't exist, I just use it as a name, the problem is, it keeps saying that analytics code havn't been installed. So, I change the website name to one of my site and then after 1 minute, it shows I have analytics installed. The question I want to ask is, will analytics tracks all my sites or just 1 site that I have mention in the website name.

    Thanks

i don't think so because you get a unique code for a website!

NO. Definitely NO. One google analytic code for one website. As you noticed, when you add a website, it would give you unique code for that particular website. SO the answer is NO :)

There is possibility for using analytic one for multiple domains but for this you need to add some code in that GA code Wherein you call _link() function.

Yes you can add single code in multiple website to keep track of traffic stats. however, you would not be able to keep track of individual website traffic stats with single code.
