How to check if links are DoFollow or NoFollow?

You can check it in any browser. Open the site in a browser, right click the link you have posted and choose the view source code option, in the source code of the site, you can see a lot of a tags, if the a tag contains 'rel="nofollow"', it's nofollow, if not, it's dofollow.

 

I use seo book toolbar which shows the no follow links by clicking on it..

 

Im using either SEO Quake, and search status to check on nofollow links

 

you can ether done it by hand, searching the code, or just try the addon

 

As mentioned above there are a lot of plugins, or you can view the source code and search for nofollow. If there is no rel="nofollow" then the links are dofollow

 

check out the source code. if it is a Nofollow link, it would be indicated.

 

I often find that using SEOquake's nofollow highlighting option can make pages unreadable if they have a lot of nofollow links.

Generally, I just right click and select properties for the link.

Remember, browsers and plugins can be fooled. Lately I've seen people leaving links with rel="dofollow" in the code, in an attempt to get around nofollow on websites. Firefox and SEOquake would both report that the link was "dofollow". In fact, there is no such term and search engines certainly do not respect it.

 

There are plenty of firefox add-ons out there.

The old school way is to highlight the link in question, then right click and view selected source.

Then look at the selected code and look for rel="nofollow". If it doesn't have that, it's followed.

 

I used SearchStatus, it's simple but effective

 

It's simple, just right click the link, choose property.. that's it..

 

Find web site source code for rel="nofollow"

 

Check it out by using properties or install add on's

install firebug after than which link you want to see DoFollow or No Follow . select that title which has hyper link than right click of mouse here will appear inspect element where you can easily find that link is DoFollow or NoFollow.

 

Install SEOMOZ firefox toolbar to check no follow links on any site.

you can try add-on firefox for nofollow

 

You can visit source code of particular page or you can install a tool named "Nodofollow" which is available as mozilla addon which will help you to identify this.

 

Which browser do you use? if you use firefox then you can install toolbar

 

Install the no dofollow addon for firefox, and you can check if a link is no follow or dofollow.
