Has anyone used Fiverr for SEO purposes? How was your experience?

No, too many scams on Fiverr.

I had better luck at 7 Freelance.

(disclaimer: I also sell here, because 7Freelance pays twice as much. 7Freelance $7 vs Fiverr $3.92 , so you can imagine why sellers give better service )

the extra $2 is well worth it.

I do edu links for clients. If you are hell bent on getting a bargain, then you can buy Fiverr Gigs for $4, (Plus no scams here. These guys kick out scammers because they have no monetary interest unlike Fiverr)

on larger jobs like $20 Zeerk is a better option. Never tried Zeerk, but at least thats what I read on forums.

For SEO services, no. I think for $5 I'll get someone just starting out with SEO and he'll hurt my SERPs, or I'll get someone who will just half-ass the job.

I heard it's okay for small tasks. But not for SEO campaigns. Think about it, what kind of service would you get for $5 ?

But for $5 it really doesn't hurt to try.

    Hi,

Personally, I use fiverr.com to promote my personal EC sites by credit every referee a $5 coupon to use on my own sites. :)

    all the best,

I would imagine you'll be fine to get articles from Fiverr, but from the looks of it, all your going to get as far as SEO goes is a handful of profile links, handful of directory submissions, or a 2,000 page SEO analysis from one of those SEO "suites"

EDUpoint, amazing how many plugs you can squeeze in one post! :D

I've never heard of anyone being scammed at Fiverr except from the owners. They are a little ban happy..

TBH I only ordered an article writing service once on fiverr.... seller said he had much experience bla bla... This is what I got: When I ordered the seller was offering 3 articles for $5, in the meantime he changed it to 2 articles (ofcourse I ordered 3 and received 2). Then I did a copyscape check on those articles and I was surprised, ENTIRE paragraphs were copy pasted from 1 article alone, all in all 50% of what I got was just copy paste. I never bothered ordering on fiverr since then.
