I need a good name for a music related site. The site will primarily be a lyrics site, but also with fanpages, music news etc. Id love to have a name that sound good with subdomains also. Obviously the name must be available.. Must be a .com, or maaybe a .net. I will give whoever's name i choose 1000 coop weight for one year. pm me the names. thanks.

shlingo.com That was just a random thought (though available) depends what you want to do with the name. Do you want it to contain keywords to make it easier to get good anchor text backlinks or do you want a memorable name. Google and Yahoo are great examples of names that origionally had nothing to do with search, but will all know them and even use the brand name instead of one of the services they offer (we all know what to Google means). If your going for anchor text links I'd be tempted to get a domain like Lyrics-for-free (no idea if that is available). This would make getting good anchor text IBLs easy but would ve very difficult for people to remember. Just my 2 cents.
I dont mind keywords in the domain that much, it is easy enougth to get them with folders. I sort of like getwiththebeat.com, but still thinking. shlingo seems a bit difficult to spell correctly.

yep solicitor, you have a valid point there. But I happen to have a lot of content (mainly lyrics), and since I am primarily a programmer, the content comes easy, it is the more artistic side (if you can a domain name that..) that I find more difficult. Thanks for all who participated here, I will go looking for some more options on my own. If I do happen to use any of the mentioned names, I will let you know.
