I was getting sales to some positive comment I posted somewhere. In my sight the product is good because many others also commented good about the product. But after a while someone came and posted a complete negative comment about the product. After that I never made a cent. What can I do? Is there any way I can reverse that?

Yes, that is probably the only way to get viewers confidence in your product again.

    Post somewhere else!

I'd also take into account what the "negative" comment stated... Perhaps its something that can be "fixed"?

You need to have customers coming from more than one place. This crap happens. Could be one of your competitors.

I have not thought about that but Slot gave me some idea. If he is my competitor then he is intentionally doing it. As far as I know the software I wrote positive comment about is quite impressive and everybody wrote Positive comment. And this guy comes in and wrote a totally different story. No the software has no bug to be fixed as far as I know. I will try to fight back and tell you the result.

Try to investigate and where does the guy who made the negative comment come from. He has probably made similar negative comments somewhere else. If you can find any indication that he's from your competitor, then it's easy to dispute his credibility.

If your Product is good, then i don't think one negative comment can take the credit from you. You make keep on advertising your Products in forums and blogs and again you can see some good sales in your account. Best wishes.

Do not put all your eggs in one basket. sh*t happens all the time. Do some more comments in other threads, other places too.
Just do not get stuck with one negative comment.

A simple way of negating the negative comment is to write as another commenter giving just a passing remark like as follows
" Hmm it seems some are not satisfied with (the product name), but that product has got a full 30 day/60 days 100% money back guarantee. So do not believe anybody and look for yourselves. After all what is there for you to loose"

This will create another positive remark without seemingly being PUSHY.

I don't think one negative comment is going to affect sales. Be realistic, your downturn in sales has to be the result of something else.

This just shows how malicious slander can cause so much damage to another person. You can't be careful enough about what you say or write in public. I had a similar experience. A peer of mine spoke badly about my professional competence and for a very long time I couldn't get freelance work from that particular circle of associates.

    So true.

But I also had one person made a totally STUPID negative comment about a transaction and now my rating is less than perfect - even though 100% of the people would agree with me (except that one fool, of course).

Also because of the 'guff' you get I stopped selling that way and went another way instead.

Do make more comments that says positive about the product to cover up the negative comment.
