Will I get banned from doing so?

Recently i created a few adsense sites and was starting to drove traffic to the site. I decided to engage one of my friend as he is a traffic seller.

There is my analytics stats of the traffic

    Bounce rate : 11%
    time on site: 2 mins
    Appear as direct visitors

In my adsense account, it shows around 3k pageviews, 47 clicks, 1.36 CTR

Are those statistic normal or am i risking my account from getting banned. My friend told me traffic are from expired domains etc.

Any experts, please advice me. Thanks

this is normal but maybe some thing wrong with the trafic and invalid clicks that's why you got banned. I m sure here's no other reason that you got banned.

well if ur friend is honest in stating that the traffic is from expired domains then surely its fair enough. Adsense wont ban you unless ur CTR rises too high so ensure u get a CTR lower than 3-5% so that it doesnt arouse suspicion in google employees eyes
But if the traffic involves use of PTC or other sites which haev been already known to google for invalid activity then u could get into serious trouble.
So if u are dealing with a notorious site ( which u may never know unless ur friend is really honest) which has been earlier involved in click fraud then better refrain from such activity. Adsense employees are quite cunning, they allow u to reach 50-100 $ and before payment or at every month end they verify it for click fraud.

In short, expired domain traffic = allowed, traffic from notorious sites = not allowed or ban.

Don't know if what you are doing is like this scenario, before there are sites made for adsense then they are using adwords to get traffic that are relatively cheap and less competitive to get traffic. Can't remember what this trick called and Google account doing it..

if you ever need to ask if you'll get banned for doing something, you're probably doing something bad. I would avoid doing anything that you would ever need to ask yourself if you'll get banned.

adsense? Don't ask "will i get banned?" ask instead "when will i get banned?" You can make better money with affiliates. check out any of these: cj.com or panda.com or hukky.com there is thousands of good products out there that pay handsomely , instead of adsense that demands constantly that you lick deeper.. have some self-respect dude, kick adsense to the kerb

Yes it is still a very normal rate. I'm not sure but isn't your CTR still a bit low? I think google raises their red flag when they that your CTR is above 10% or more.

So I think its ok =)

It is better if you have at least 50% traffic from Search Engines! (Google, Yahoo, Etc..)

does direct traffic plays a part in determining strange activites in resulting your adsense account being banned? It could due to an effective viral word of mouth or tv/radio advertising that result in the increase of traffic? Any insight on this?
