    Right now I am running Image ads.. am I allowed to make a CUSTOM image border to go around this ad? Any rules against this?:confused:

    I'd put a small "Advertisement" label above the ad, inside the border just to be safe.

    Yes you can but its prefer to not use this border.
    look to the great website that put adsense not borders
    the adsense unit looks like part of articles or website
