Hi Folks, I'm new to the co-op (about 3 days now). I've got three web sites that I've combined into a master account, and that account now shows a weight of around 33,000. Just curious if that is a good number and how it stacks up against the average weight of everyone else. With 33,000 what sort of impressions should I begin to see with my ads (my stats probably won't start showing for a few more days). Thanks in advance. John.
33K is a nice start. Probably just over average I'd say. It's hard to reference weight to impressions. You basically get as many ads back to you as you provide. It depends on the other site's traffic how many impressions you'll get. Evaluate after a week or so, that's probably the best insight you can get about it.
Well I've got to say, my stats are not showing yet, but already I'm seeing backlinks (on MSN) as a result of my ads! This was incredibly easy. What I've done was consoldidate my weight and have 10 or so ads for each of my sites. Hopefully that way, I'm slowing the speed at which I obtain backlinks for each site (if that's still an issue with Google). I can't wait to see what the next few months brings!
I recently put about 100k weight at a dummy site (no other incoming links) and it resulted in about 25,000 backlinks. So you should be looking at 8,000 new backlinks.
On untargeted pages will your back links be shown up. G will not count those links which show up on untargeted sites. But msn and Y will.
Not true at all. There are some theories on whether you get a "related" site benefit but you do get some benefit from all links. Its the degree of benefit that is up for speculation.
