well I have been doing social networking, fourm posting, article submissions, and link exchanges, i was wondering what else i should do, my webmaster wont even show my new links and my websites have never improved
"swiffer wet jet" is a tough keyphrase, even "swiffer wet jet coupons" are tough. Are these your keywords you have been using? What other keywords are you using?
When did you start with your internet marketing efforts? You have to remember that it takes time for these results to come. As some mentioned here, you should also look into your links as well as your keywords. Maybe if you could gather some keywords that would be more in line to what people are looking for, then you could start seeing changes on your sites. As to links, you might want to give link exchanges a rest and do something else to boost your link building instead. Try blog commenting, but don't spam. Be part of blogging communities, offer relevant ideas and create relationships with the people in your community and in time people will want to link to you. Make sure that the links you are getting are credible and highly authoritative as well, because these will reflect on the kind of company and business you keep.
Ive been link builds for like a month, nothing has showed up on webmasters, i was afraid of my keywords being hard competions, yea swiffer wet jet is my main one, i just dont kno how to figure out which keywords are to competitve im trying to figure all this out, its just not workin, could you guys tell me how to kno if my keyword is to competitive, is it just there page rank or what, i just figured swiffer wet jet would be easy cause it only has 47k websites
seo is all about patience and hard work just continue your task and update your content with a quality and unique content.
well i kno about seo ive been reading about it for about a year, i just dont kno how to tell what keywords are competitve cause the ones i use apparently are to hard, i havent ever got on the first page for any the the few years ive been messing around with it
Go after long tail keywords. Build enough of these and the main keyword becomes yours... Put your keyword first in the titles, and in the url. For example, instead of customerreviews.htm have swifferwetjet.htm. Your site does not display well on firefox/linux/noscript.
Do you make sure you're links are do--follow while building them? G webmaster won't show them in they're no follow!
Search Engines take some time to count back links. So, keep working on with quality SEO techniques of building links.
I would do things like: guest blogging build out sites like wordpress.com, blogger.com, tumblr, etc use some article/blog sites like seolinkvine.com
