    Yoursite.com/blog/ or blog.yoursite.com
When you say "different names" maybe you mean to different domains :)) , you only need one , and good ( simple etc. ).

Is better to lose the time with one site .
Or you want to divide your time with a few sites?

If you divide your time with a few sites, will be dificult for your.
Is better to lose your time with one domain , and of course you can create subdomains , to have more sites ( but like this you'll don't divide your visites ).

You can have a blog and an opt-in and a static frontpage all on one domain. You can even create subdomains or subfolders, should you need it (f.e. your homepage is on mydomain.com and your salespage would be on mydomain.com/salespage etc.)
I hope that answers your question!

You can manage with only one domain too. Only the thing is you will have to use sub domains.

One domain is enough, you can use a sub-domain for your blog.
