    To the question - Yes.. This one is still worthy but might depend on local targeted search.

    I have submitted my sitemap to Yahoo, and have considered the directory too, but thats quite a lot of money for a directory (I beleive thats an annual fee isnt it?)... still thinking on that one.
    What ammount of traffic/ROI would one expect? are there any case studies.

    i dnt think its worth it , and just for one directory not at all. My advice Dont DO IT. STAY away. try seo to gain traffic.

    299$ is ok to try if you already have earned millions of dollars . You may try anything if you have money . People are crazy to get their site listed in search directories and it may be really helpful as it may help their site to get traffic and good rank for keywords in search engines.

    If you earn good amount of money i advise you to submit your site to yahoo directory, if you don't earn enough money i prefer you spend this money in developing your site or online avert

    I paid a service to get my website #1 ranking in Yahoo under 4 keywords and I didn't get much traffic at all. No one is using it. They are kidding themselves by still charging.
