They don't accept ALOT of site nowdays, they are so strict.
I had an account and a site with 100% LEGAL and descent content, they banned my old account and wouldn't let me back into it.

A mate of mine signed up to adsense with a pretty big forum and they declined him also.

Maybe look at using adbrite. :)

If you want to earn almost nothing, then also join Kontera. They pay a whopping $0.005/click for most niches.

Here's a method that I like to use a lot. It requires some quality article writing though. PLUS I AM NOT ADVERTISING!

Not sure if you guys have heard of InfoBarrel before, but they are an Ad Revenue sharing site like Ezine Articles. What you are going to do is sign up, then write at least 6 (recommended) quality articles and make sure that they are good enough to be approved. When all of them are approved, head over to Google Adsense's main page and register for an Adsense account. Under website, write your Info Barrel User Profile. In this case, http://www.infobarrel.com/Users/YOURNAMEHERE.

This method works and I actually learned this from InfoBarrel's staff themselves. Though it requires a little writing, InfoBarrel offers 70% and up Ad Revenus Share anyways, so I guess you can't call it a complete loss. Besides, it allows 2 backlinks per articles too. :)
