google "how much is my website worth" You will get a load of sites which estimate website values. Type your competitors site in and have a look at the stats. This will tell you a lot of information about your competitors.

use the google adwords tool. it's free and gives you an idea of how many times a keyword is searched and gives you an estimate of how competitive the keyword is for ppc. that usually translates well to seo

To check competition I use the SEO Quake Firefox Addon. You can see how many backlinks the #1 site has.

There are no hard rules for competition. The way I am doing research is I look at the top 10, because that's your ultimate goal. I look at each site and see if there is one that I can outrank. If I think I can do it, I go ahead regardless of allintitle.

If you want more detailed analysis of your keyword, one good tool would be Market Samurai.

No, No No!!! Don't do it. It's a total waste of time!!

Despite you see 10 or 100.000.000 sites for that query, you have to compete anyway with first 10 sites.

Use Traffic Travis, is a free tool that you can use to check your real competitors for your keywords.

    Hope it helps.
