I am looking for some products that convert pretty well. Right now I promote mostly fitness, but I want to try other niches as well. Anyone have anything they would recommend?

If you search the clickbank marketplace for "video", you will find many salespages that use video. These tend to convert higher.

You can then do your niche research for those pages and see what's the demand and competition.

 

Why not try other products related to the fitness niche, that way you will be able to coordinate your efforts. You could go wider to health and lifestyle niches or narrower to specific kinds of fitness training.

 

I would go for the make money niche on clickbank. Lots of gravity and lots of products

 

and lots of competition!! lol..

 

and lots of chargebacks, refunds... stay away from this kind of ripofs

I watched a video series not too long ago that I bought that went over finding great niches. It really boils down to...
1- low competition
2- around 10,000 monthly google searches
3- something people WANT

#1- You can find very low competition around the 10th page and onward of practically any of the marketplace categories (main categories, not sub categories). Once you find that product then run a bunch of keywords you would use to search for it with the google adwords: keyword tool.

#2- I have a few niches I just started looking into and found that some have as much as 20,000 searches a month for a specific keyword, yet the competition is ranked very low. Some products on the 10th page and beyond that I looked at still had very high competition even at marks as low as 10,000 for a specific keyword!

#3- It better be a product people want. I doubt you won't find very many products on Clickbank that people wont want. Everybody has a problem that they want solved or fixed and hope your product can help. For instance, weight loss. Not just weight loss, but a FAST and EASY way to do it. Do not go into that niche if you don't want competition as it's very fierce. I saw some pretty convincing yet very stupid products being sold.

 

I would recommend you promote recurring billed products.
Reason is simple you get paid every month with no additional work from your side.

 

I'd say, at this time of year at least, fitness and diet solutions would be getting a lot of traffic.

Normally, they're pretty good anyway and some of the CLickbank products have amazing conversions. Check out their URL's in compete.com to see how much traffic they're getting to their sales pages as well.
