Adsense cpm dropped drastically

Hi my adsense cpm dropped suddenly and its like that from past 3 days, earnings also dropped, but i am getting traffic as normal.. Are you facing the same problem?

 

what has dropped? cpc or ctr?

 

eCPM huge drop, CTR also reduced to half.. anybody facing the same problem?

 

it do happens from time to time ... so there is nothing to worry about the same ... if your traffic is same

 

so it's just ctr who dropped. ecpm simply depends on ctr and cpc.
So you have to check more, do you have several sites? Can you know which site you have a sudden drop in ctr ?

 

It happened for my blog, the cpc and ctr both low hence i am getting very very low ecpm for the last 3 days, God knows why is this happening since i am blogging as normal.

 

I started using mgid since one month, personally i don't like the links they are showing on my blog, but i get some traffic from them. Should i remove it?

 

The eCPM drop is due to your CTR drop

 

be methodical. First you told me your CTR dropped half. now you say both your ctr and cpc are low and then you ask a question on mgid.
Take one step at a time if you want to resolve your issue, otherwise do 36 things at the same time and achieve nothing.

Mine has gone down, but I know why. Certain advertising categories go up during the Christmas holiday season while others go down. I have a travel site that always tanks from Thanksgiving until right after Christmas, then it takes off again.

People don't plan vacations during the Christmas season. They shop instead, so retail Web sites do very well while travel doesn't.

Use Google Insights for Search to see if your most important keywords are dropping right about now.

 

I agree this may have been due to the festive season. People are surfing shopping related sites.
