Making traffic for website or blog

I feel social marketing, blog postings and backlinking will do wonder.

 

In my humble opinion, Social networking would form a better way in increasing the traffic for your site as well as ranking… article submission, social book marking and directory submission would better way for your site.

Google search engine is always looking for new relevant articles. You would want to submit a new article every other day for the first month or so. This will help develop some solid links to your page without having to chase them.
Yes, people will come to you! Your much better off this way as you will build a rock solid foundation for your site that will rank higher and stay there longer. Forget about the shortcuts, Google will catch up to you sooner or later.
As for Adword, be careful. You could empty your account out real fast if don't know what your doing. Yes, you could make some money fast this way. It will not do much for you long term.
