Craigslist marketing?

Use to be awesome. Now it's hard. They are some many better,easy methods out there that will produce the same results if not better.

 

That is a very bold statement!

Yes your correct that CL is getting more difficult, but it is not impossible. The only thing that changed is the time you have to invest and it costs a little bit more to post your ads daily. The traffic is still amazing.

Many of our pro's again our PRO's are making any where from X,XXX to XX,XXX per day.

I'd stay away from PPC until I knew what I was doing. It can get expensive, and if you website sucks, not worth your time.

Using a variety of free marketing methods works well.

 

You might actually have better luck on ebay. Another option would be to just add your affiliate links and upload it to file sharing sites. There are some that will pay you for downloads.

You could try and sell them on Craigslist but it's probably not the best medium for selling them.

Getting flagged on CL is always a problem and will be since obviously any user can flag an add. Try to sell something someone else has on their site too and see your add and you can be for sure your add will be flagged.
But what? It doesn't take a long time to create a new add and place it new in another city.
But even I still do use CL, it's not one of my favorites since the revenue or sales I got out of it is close to ZERO.
There are plenty of other free and paid classified adds websites out there.

I have used craigslist for a couple years now and it is the easiest and most helpful site!

You can find just about anything an there and it's better than ebay because it's local and no shipping!

I have sold many things and bought many thing using craigslist, and every experience has been a good one!

 

like many of the others in this thread I eventually found it extremely frustrating trying to deal with Craig's list posting. They fight you every step of the way, if you're trying to post in multiple cities, they even make it look like your ads are still up.

A few years ago, I even tried an auto poster for Craig's list but that ended up being a dismal failure.

I think it also depends significantly on what product you're offering.

Just geo location. Its doesn't make sense that someone in india is posting an ad in new york. Really all you have to do is think like a regular user and you can get around all there filters.

and btw to survive in this game, you need to keep reinvesting into your campaigns. ESPECIALLY ON PVAS!!

 

There are ways to make your own PVA's which can be made for nothing. No one is going to tell you exactly how to do this, but it is possible, if know how to drive traffic.

 

Craigslist or a person or a competitor will flag your post within minutes usually. But several minutes are enough for me to make decent amount of money on a dating website. That's why you have to do multiple posting a day. You can create multiple accounts. If you need a cellphone number for the phone verification, just buy a $10 cellphone with no contract. You can do one posting a day with one account. If you have 100 accounts that's 100 posting a day. Which is plenty. Good luck

 

CRAIGSLIST marketing is my favorite way to get traffic. It is way better than adwords/ppc for a few reasons:
1. IT IS FREE
2. highly targeted traffic
3. Loads of traffic!
4. Passively build your email list

I don't use Craigslist anymore since they took away the section for buying whores. I was using that to meet hookers and that was really all the site was good for. Now I have to start trolling the streets again or use Backpage to get my horn blowed. Craigsalist has no balls anymore and now my pussy circumstance has been degraded.
