When one should start worrying about penalties ?

As my site is getting penalized for no reason. I thought of asking this question.
When one should start worrying about penalty ? should one worry since first day of site or some quality traffic (2000-3000 visits /day)
as content is always king ? should 200-300 visits a day site should worry about penalty by google or concentrate on building content?

 

Absolutely NO. The reasons you've mentioned are not at all might become reason for website penalization.

The answer is: one should start worrying about penalties ONLY when they are applying/using spam or black hat SEO techniques. Just google "black hat SEO" or "SEO SPAM" and you'll get the idea.

Totally agree, also content isn't the king.. of course it's a huge factor but I got sites ranked way high where I have only 1 paragraph of text

But still you got to have unique content on your site/blog if you want to rake in big amount of visitors

 

Not always, if your site is only a small entry to a bigger site where you want to sell membership

 

If you create content the way you write forum posts, you should just give up now.

You're clearly creating crappy posts in order to dump your sig links. So much for quality content. By the way.. .when you say "site is getting penalized for no reason"... I bet there is no penalty, just a lack of rankings like most crap sites.

 

it is very hard to get penalized by google. They may devalue links from bad neighborhoods, etc... but you are not likely being penalized.

 

there is always a reason for a penalty. Just because you are not seeing it doesnt mean its not there. dup content, over optimization?
