    Hi,
our company sells quit smoking devices and we'd like to build our own affiliate program or MLM. What do you think the best will be for us?
    Any suggestions?

    thanks

First create a site and then use clickbank or clixgalore to get affiliates.

I'd look at using Clickbank, it's pretty easy to use.

You could get someone on www.rentacoder.com to build a custom affiliate script for you. Just tell them what you want and how you want it. They are pretty affordable too.

We just got done creating a custom affiliate program and to be honest it wasn't that hard. By joining an affiliate network (such as cj) you can tap into all their affiliates but you'll also be giving up a lot. Doing it yourself will save you money as long as you don't mind the legwork of locating affiliates.

Have you looked at LinkConnector.com? I have 2 programs there and I use their natural link technology to get the link credit.

That was one of the reasons we built ours...so that the links point in would be to our domain and not cj or something else. I'm not sure that even matters (since all of the links in will be unique URLs because of the tracking code) but I figured it certainly won't hurt.

I use PHP Audit as my shopping cart and use iDevAffilaite as my affiliate software. They work together very well.

Any suggestions on the same topic but for a NON online sale? Leads will come in to website, phone or email. I've read up on lots of programs that give each affiliate a code and you just give links with their code in the tracking URL and you have to really track your lead sources. The phone would either be a virtual extension or simply to have callers ask for promo WXYZ. I was looking for a software component that with a web interface where users could log in to see their profits and conversions. I suppose the merchants enter that manually since it is offline?

    Stay away from MLMs

use ShareASale.com - best one out there for small programs. For bigger ones, CJ or Linkshare

    Hi Mike,

I'm a "peon" just like you. I can't include a hyperlink (for obvious reasons) but I'd still like to offer a solution for you. I just released a new online service that does what you are looking for (almost)...Anyway it's called Promo Code Software. If you want to learn more about it just go to promocodesoftware dot com.

You can create unlimited promo codes and track them all in the online admin panel.

Well, this post will probably go unread...this is a really old thread. But just in case. Promo Code Software may be a solution for you.
