What's in the future for 2011?

So as 2010 wraps up and 2011 is just around the corner, I was curious what everyone thinks is in the future for 2011 as far as what will be hot.

For example, what's the next facebook? What's the next plentyoffish? What hasn't been thought of yet? Cars that drive themselves? Robots with inteligence? What's the next fad website that will make millions of dollars?

 

What will be hot? More lame ass DP noobs posting crap in DP

Scientists will discover a new habitable planet for our future,
Apple will launch it's new type of tablet PC.
and we will have 200000 more members in DP.

I think the financial crisis will make a come back and the people in the euro will have more problem than they have right now.

As for technology, I hope every year that it will be the breakthough for battery life, that we can jump from several hours to several days/weeks with one charge of some nuclear battery, but it's not yet happening.. Maybe in 2011

 

Yeah, financial crisis will be back (for as far as it ever left) and will be bigger than ever.
That's not just some prediction. It is inevitable.

A breakthrough for battery life would be really great.
But it can wait until the end of next year. (not going to buy a new phone for a while...If I don't have to)

But like many people on this forum, I wouldn't mind knowing about some new hype (like 3d) early.
So we can all rush and buy domain names for it haha.

If anything we'll see DP increase in growth, with the majority of it coming from the noobs Mobius talks about =)

 

I think in 2011, we will see threads talking about, "what do you guys think about 2012?". lol, its inevitable, its bound to happen.
