I have created links for my site www.moviesonlinewatch.com ,when i was counting the number of links i see that some links are nofollow. I want to know will nofollow effects on search engine ranking?.I only want to increse my search engine ranking.
Nofollow links not have a effective impression or we can say not more usable to increase to page rank in search rank.
If your main aim is to drive traffic, then no-follow links are always useful. But when considering page rank, it doesn't help you in increasing page rank as their page rank won't traverse to you. Then you can't come index your site at the top in google search.

What you should do is try to get links mostly from site which provides link without nofollow attribute.Also if you are getting links from site which has nofollow atribute will not hurt you but can help you to increase the number of links in yahoo site-explorer as well as gain some traffic. Google doesn't crawl them. but still they gie weigh, you can feel free to use nofollow internally to help tell Googlebot which pages they want to receive link juice from other pages
They do crawl them, but its on them whether to index them or not. I have tested myself this. If you don't believe me then just get a bend new domain, do not tell any body just get a nofollow link and see whether it gets followed or not.
