    Hello friends,
    Do you use Yahoo Answers to build backlinks? I used it for a while and haven't seen much traffic coming through it. Does the backlinks in Yahoo Answers have any benefit in SEO.
    Please share you insights.

    The last time I looked Yahoo Answer links were nofollow, they can be helpful to get human visitors to your site, if used in a not spammy way, but they don't do much for SEO apart of making your backlink profile looking more natural, SY

    Well i consider it also but i think it helps more on sending niche targeted visitors than seo rankings.

    yes but most of the time i use it to get traffic. It gets indexed really fast so if i optimize for something I try to put my link on yahoo answers .

    you can get good traffic, but not for backlink
    so.. no benefit for SEO, but good for traffic

So, answering in popular topics will give traffic to your site which you have given in source of the post. It also gives us back links. This, link building will results a immediate change in SERP. To get this benefit try answering in google cache pages & popular topics. Then, you too get better results in search engines from yahoo answers.

    YA is nofollow. That said, if you have a level 2 account, you can get a decent amount of traffic by posting replies to questions related to the services you offer, your website, etc. Rule #1? Don't spam. You'll also get the benefit (sometimes) of having the question appear high in the Google search engine for popular terms. YA tends to rank pretty well with Google.
